Until now, our orphanage and the Josuha Guilavogui Foundation have been solely funded by our founder Josuha. In order to make sure that our work can continue and to ensure the orphanage’s future we appreciate any financial contribution.

Any contribution and donations is 100% dedicated and used for the day-to-day operations of our little orphanage in Conakry. Any individual, working for the foundation in Germany do so on voluntary basis, without receiving payment or recurring salaries.

DONATION (< EUR 500)
Donations are used to cover daily costs of the orphanage.

ENDOWMENT CONTRIBUTION (≥ EUR 500)
Endowment contributions are financial contributions to increase the foundation’s endowment fund. Easily explaining: endowment contributions are an investment into eternity. Sooner or later the endowment fund shall be high enough to secure the operational business of the orphanage. As soon as the endowment fund is big enough earned interest should be able to cover all costs related to the foundation. 

All financial contributions made to JOSUHA GUILAVOGUI FOUNDATION are tax privileged in Germany. For all other countries: please consult your national tax authority / tax advisors.

For donations (up to EUR 300) it’s enough to add a valid confirmation of the completed bank transfer when filing your tax return. Further we advise you to add the following document: vereinfachter Zuwendungsnachweis

For any donations or financial contributions exceeding EUR 300, please add your mail address when wiring the money. We’ll then send you an official confirmation on your contribution by electronic mail.

School
School fee: EUR 10 per child per month
Writing materials + books: EUR 35 per child per year
School uniform: EUR 17 per child (2 needed per year)

Clothing
Outfit: EUR 15 per child (e.g. for a single shirt + pant)
Shoes: EUR 12 per pair
Sandals: EUR 4 per pair
